We have streamlined the process of creating support tickets on our platform. Hitherto, when a merchant clicks the support ticket link, he was taken out of the dashboard and landed on our support ticket software ticket creation page. This is as shown below:
This page requires details that the merchant already has on file i..e. Email & Full Name. Hence we decided that it does not make sense for the merchant to have to fill in these data all over again. So what we have done is to create a special page right within the StoreMantis dashboard that only requests for the important details for ticket creation i.e. Summary and Details. This page is as shown below:
Now creating support tickets is a lot easier! Kindly note however that this system still uses our old ticketing platform. Hence merchants can still track support requests on the same portal.
